The cut command allows you to cut the selection and puts it into the clipboard (short-term storage of contents). The selection can then be used to paste at another location.

Tip - You can add the formatting to multiple selections of text, double-click the Format painter button instead of clicking once. Then press ESC key to turn it off when it is not required.

Select the text you want to cut or remove from the document.
|
|
|
|
|
Double click the word correspondence to select it. |

On the ribbon at the top of the window, on the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click Cut; or you can also press CTRL+X.
This action will remove the selected text.
