To indent first line -
If you want to indent the first line you type, press the TAB key on your keyboard before you start to type.
This will move the insertion point one-half inch to the right.

Press TAB key on your keyboard and type Entering text  
To start typing further down the page -
If you would like to start typing further down the page instead of at the very top, press the ENTER key on your keyboard until the insertion point is where you want to type.
Each time you press ENTER key, insertion point moves to the next line.

Press ENTER key on your keyboard twice and type Typing further down  
As you type, the insertion point moves to the right. When you get to the end of a line on the right side of the page, just continue to type. Word will move on to the next line automatically for you as you type.
