To find out how to do something, click on the Word help button at the upper-right corner of the window.
As you move your mouse over this icon, screen tip says Microsoft Office Word Help (F1), F1 is a keyboard shortcut for help.

The status bar is located at the bottom of the page. It displays information about the currently active document, such as page numbers, number of words in the document, buttons to change the views and the zoom tool.

|
Help is installed on your computer when you install an Office program, and you can get additional Help content from Microsoft Office website using internet connection. You can specify where you want to search for Help.

Click on the question mark icon provided at the rightmost corner of the ribbon. A small Help window appears.
