Scrollbars, ruler and status bar
 
The scroll bar on the right-hand side helps you scroll or view the content or body of the document.
To utilize this, you can either move the arrow button along the scroll bar.
 
You can apply text formatting like bold the text or change the font etc using mini toolbar.

Place the mouse cursor on the scroll bar on the right hand side of the document and keep the mouse button pressed and drag the mouse down along the scroll bar.  
At the top of the scroll bar, you have a small button to choose the option to view the ruler.
The ruler bar allows you to format the vertical alignment of text in a document. It displays and sets tabs and indent markers for paragraphs. You can use it to quickly change the format of your document.

Click on the ruler button to see the ruler
